We took the plunge into making our own soap due to some health issues that were greatly affecting my husband's skin. After trying several Dermatologists and countless cremes and special soaps we were gifted a bar of all-natural homemade soap. After a few short weeks we started to see an improvement, from then on we were hooked on homemade soap!Back in those days, it was mainly old fashion lard soap and Goat milk soap that was available. We did some research to try to find out what made the difference,{without internet} and we learned that commercial soap isn't really soap, its detergent! Almost all contain at least 3 carcinogenics and artificial colors and fragrances. Today you can goggle commercial soap and find everything you ever wanted to know about that industry and why most of it is actually harmful. We decided we would make our own soap to save money and always have a bar handy! Occasionally we sold our soap in different shops here in Lancaster county, Life went on and the years went by, we learned there are so many types of soap to make! It was something my husband and I really enjoyed doing together. Time moves on and hubby is no longer here to help, but when I pulled out one of my favorite soap recipes one of my sons showed real interest, now Jordan is my right-hand man. He does all the photos and designs for our shop. He also has created a few of his own recipes {for Guys} like shave bars, Hailstorm, and Autumn Winds. If you're here looking for quality all-natural soap you have come to the right place. Our promise to you is our soaps are made with the best quality products, We use local farms whenever possible, organic and fair trade, and ethically sourced products. Top-quality essential oils, if we use a fragrance oil we will label it as such. Although these products are more expensive we do our best to offer a good size bar of soap at a reasonable price. It's our hope that you will truly appreciate the benefits of our homemade soap!
